The all-new 2020 Toyota Highlander delivers the spacious comfort you expect from a three-row family SUV, but there’s more. The redesigned Highlander rides on a more responsive platform, offers an efficient hybrid powertrain, and comes with a suite of advanced safety technologies.
A New Platform
For the 2020 model year, the Highlander has undergone a complete redesign. It’s the first-ever Highlander to be designed with the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which increases its agile handling and offers a tighter turning radius. This new platform also allows the Highlander’s design to change, giving it a more powerful stance and a sophisticated silhouette that will turn heads on the go.
The Highlander Hybrid model is expected to provide consumers with a best-in-class fuel-efficiency rating of 6.7 L/100 km combined. The Highlander Hybrid model’s efficiency has increased 19 percent over last year’s model, while still generating as much system horsepower as the gas-powered Highlander. This means that you can spend less time — and money — at the gas pump without having to sacrifice power.
The 2020 Highlander comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0 package, giving you peace of mind out on the road. You will also receive standard safety features like a Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, a backup camera, and the Toyota Star Safety System.
